Pope Francis proclaimed: “Mary is not only the bridge joining us to God; she is more. She is the road that God travelled to reach us, and the road that we must travel to reach Him.”

 

Although the shrine and prayer garden is located in Fruita, Colorado, at Sacred Heart Church, this is a place of pilgrimage for the entire Diocese of Pueblo and, hopefully, far beyond that. Inspired by our diocese’s patron saint Therese of the Child Jesus’s philosophy of The Little Way, the intention of this project is for small acts of love and generosity of heart to reap enormous fruits. We call upon Our Lady to strengthen our faith, and to show us a way to her Son through worship, prayer, and education.
