September 2023 Shrine Update

Phase I is nearing completion! Hydro-seeding and initial plantings are finished, along with curbing and other major pieces. Rock filler and other hardscaping will be complete by the end of September.  Artists are putting finishing touches on the statues and altar, both of which are scheduled to be installed by the end of October.
.
Bishop Berg has confirmed that we will have our
Shrine Dedication Mass on Saturday, December 9th at 10am - the feast of St Juan Diego! All are invited - please continue to check here for further details!

Our artist is hard at work (and prayer) making this Shrine come to life with the statues of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Juan Diego! Take a look at our gallery for more updated images! And please continue to pray for our artist (Margaret) to guide her hand as she carves the intricate details on these statues, also for everyone who is working to create something beautiful for the glory of God!

Construction Update March 2022:

Sending out a heartfelt THANK YOU for all who attended our blessing and breaking of the earth that will become this shrine! On this late spring evening of March 28th we had over 100 people join in the celebration and share a delicious meal together, thanks to the generosity of El Tapatio

Please continue to check back here for more updates as we begin to bring this shrine to life!

Let not your heart be disturbed.

Do not fear sickness, nor any other anguish.

Am I not here, who am your Mother?

Are you not under my protection?

Am I not your health?

Are you not happily within my fold?

What else do you wish?

Do not grieve nor be disturbed by anything.
